为什么有很多发达国家及邻国不「喜欢」中国呢？

  咱们自己，有时候还没老外看得清局势。我来发一个越南人的言论，他说的就蛮有道理的。

  我们生活在一个后殖民世界中。90％的世界被欧洲大国殖民。他们中的许多人仍将殖民地语言作为官方语言（印度，南美和所有撒哈拉以南非洲）或使用殖民地货币（中非法郎）。

  中国的崛起极具破坏性。因为这是对美国和欧洲等旧世界大国构成了威胁。

  没有人喜欢看到他们的历史荣耀消失。几个世纪以来，欧洲是最发达，最先进的大陆，而美国是无与伦比的超级大国。

  没有人可以挑战他们。直到中国来了。

  对越南来讲，中国是一个威胁很大的国家。为什么会这样？

  越南朝代与中国有非常密切的联系，但是当法国殖民越南时，这种联系被切断了。法国人打算尽可能将越南与中国隔离开来，并用法国文化代替中国的影响力。

  越南人开始独立运动时，也延续了法国时期的趋势，并利用中国制造越南民族主义。

  1945年，我们有一个叫TrầnTrọngKim的人。他发明了BắcThuộc-北方统治的概念。这指的是越南是中国朝代的一千年，但它被描绘成汉族殖民地的一千年。

  然而，越南媒体让人觉得，中国和越南似乎是仅有的两个主张者，增加了越南的民族主义。

  中国因南海争端禁止了菲律宾香蕉。

  但是对越南？没有。

  越南甚至邀请了美国航母。中国什么也没做。

  中国确实击沉了几艘越南渔船。但是印度尼西亚却炸毁了它们。

  是的，他们甚至逮捕了越南渔民

  但是中国没有进行报复。

  中国是一个非常强大的大国，但是对越南的态度是如此的克制以至于他们不必这么做。

  因为我们生活在一个后殖民世界中，所以中国将继续是一个恶棍。

  一般人很简单，只会重复他们从媒体听到的以及周围每个人所说的话。

  同样，中国是反派，是因为它不像其他国家那样符合西方的期望。

  西方希望中国像印度一样-讲殖民地语言，使用像Facebook这样的美国社交媒体，永远的廉价劳动力来源，庞大的商品市场，大量的人才进口来源（所有大型美国公司都有印度CEO，那为什么我们没有听说有任何大型的印度公司吗？）由于人才的大量流失，印度的人才贡献海外而不是他的祖国。

  We live in a post-colonial world. 90% of the world was colonized by a European power. Many of them still have a colonial language as the official language (India, South America and all Subsaharan African) or use colonial currency (African CFA Franc).

  The rise of China is very disruptive. And it is a threat to old world powers like U.S and Europe.

  No one likes to see their historic glory fade away. For centuries, Europe was the most developed, most advanced continent and the U.S was the unmatched super power.

  No one could challenge them. Until China came.

  China is a threat just like Soviet and Japan used to be a threat. Because they got too big and too powerful.

  But China is different, unlike Soviet and Japan, it’s much bigger than U.S and Europe.

  What the Western world is very good at is influencing mindset. Because the whole world speaks their language, use their media, follow their trends. You are influenced by pro-West thinking without knowing it.

  In Vietnam, China is a very threatening country. But why did this happen?

  Vietnamese dynasties had very close ties with China but that tie was severed when the French colonized Vietnam. The French intended to distance Vietnam from China as much possible and replaced Chinese influence with French culture.

  When Vietnamese began the independence movement, they also continued the trend from the French period by using China to create Vietnamese nationalism.

  In 1945 we had a guy called Trần Trọng Kim. He invented the concept of Bắc Thuộc - Northern Domination. This refers to the 1000 years that Vietnam was part of various Chinese dynasties but it became painted as a 1000 years of Han Chinese colonization.

  Vietnamese nationalism continued the “Brave Viet people defending against the cruel Han invaders” theme throughout the education system.

  Before the French arrived, Vietnamese emperors looked up to China and viewed themselves as Southern emperors that were equal to the Chinese ones up North. China was called the Northern country, while Vietnam was the Southern country.

  They were proud of Han culture and even wanted the Cambodians to adopt it. In fact not only Vietnamese but Korean and Japanese were proud of the Han culture.

  They never thought of themselves as oppressed people, invaded for 1000 years by Han invaders. Such victimized stance was invented by Trần Trọng Kim.

  If you hear about the 1000 years domination, this is the longest colonization in human history and it sounds so tragic. Until you realize that it happened in prehistoric time. Vietnam became independent in 938 AD. That is the 1st century, more than 1000 years ago.

  The Ming dynasty did occupy Vietnam for 20 years. Shorter than the French did. Again the Ming occurred in 15th century.

  The French destroyed thousands of Vietnamese traditional landmarks, enslaved Vietnamese in rubber plantations in the 20th century and replaced Vietnamese temples with French buildings. They took Vietnamese National treasures to France (they are now still in French museums).

  The U.S killed millions of Vietnamese and left permanent damage through Agent Orange.

  was the mass murder of unarmed South Vietnamese civilians by U.S. troops in Sơn Tịnh District, South Vietnam on 16 March 1968.

  I have written this opinion before but got continuously downvoted and collapsed because it offended some people.

  China had been kinder to Vietnam than all the other big countries had been to their neighbors.

  If you study about U.S involvement in Latin America

  Yet China didn’t retaliate.

  China, being a very big and powerful country, has been so restrained towards Vietnam in a way that they don’t have to.

  Let me tell you this: China can hurt Vietnam and the world won’t care. Well does the world care about Taiwan? Taiwan has some of the most important industries in the world. Foxconn is the largest provider of electronics manufacturing services and the third-largest technology company by revenue.

  But we live in a post colonial world, so China will continue to be a villain.

  The average person is simple and only repeats what they hear from the media and what everyone around them says.

  Again China is a villain because it doesn’t fit into the Western expectation like other countries.

  The West wants China to be like India - speaking colonial language, using U.S social media like Facebook, forever source of cheap labor, big market for goods, big source of talent import (all big U.S companies have Indian CEOs then why don’t we hear about any big Indian companies?) Because of the huge brain drain that Indian talents contribute overseas instead of their home country.
